Discovering factors for success after 50 years of type 1 diabetes!
Discovering factors for success after 50 years of type 1 diabetes!
Living with type 1 diabetes for 50 years or longer is a remarkable achievement. We are proud of your accomplishment and feel that there is a lot you can teach us. Clinicians, educators, and even policy makers are eager to learn more about managing diabetes successfully from your first hand experience.
We are curious about your lifestyle and the intricacy of managing this complex disease over many years. Participating in our questionnaire study and sharing your story will further contribute to a better understanding of type 1 diabetes and the factors involved in leading a successful life despite of it.
Your personal achievement of living with type 1 diabetes for over 50 years is nothing short of an accomplishment worthy of a medal. With the generous support of the Joslin Medalist Program we are awarding the 50-year medal in recognition of your successful management of longstanding juvenile diabetes.
If you would like to take part in the study or find out how to obtain your medal, please sign up or see the details on our Award page.
